Doug McClure, like pretty much every other recruiter, fell face first into this business having zero knowledge of its existence back in 2004, but after just three short months in the recruiting industry, he was hooked and never turned back. Now after 19 years in the business, Doug has taken the leap and started his own company, Parallax Search Group .

Throughout his nearly two decade career in the industry, Doug has been privileged to help companies solve an age-old challenge of finding top talent. Equally as rewarding is helping candidates, people, discover new strengths and take next steps in their career. Think about the last time you made a career move that had you celebrating and bursting at the seams to tell your family and friends that you 'got it'. We love helping people write that story.

So, what in the world does Parallax mean, anyways? Doug certainly raised an eyebrow when his beautiful bride said, "Lets name our company Parallax." Simply put, Parallax is the intersection of two different viewpoints. When the viewpoint of a company’s perspective of a candidate... and the candidate’s perspective of the opportunity... intersect - that creates a Parallax. Our mission is to help you find that intersection.

I am ferocious about my family, always laughing and making memories with my wife and two daughters (yes, these are real pics of them, not stock photos). As you can tell, I out-kicked my coverage marrying my wife, Hope. It’s too late for her to turn back, we have a will and all kinds of assets together now. I win. Also my daughters are proof that karma isn’t real, because I don’t deserve them. They are smart, healthy, vibrant, gifted young ladies.

I am a former professional golfer turned headhunter. I love the parallels of the two - you never stop growing in your game. Both demand you stay on the leading edge with technology and insights, constantly practicing your craft, stretching yourself to grow in new areas for better outcomes. I cannot imagine doing anything else with my career. I am a Christian that probably swears too much. A tattoo enthusiast, a total sap of a dad and husband, 2006 Time Magazine Person of The Year, and likely the only person you will ever know with an albatross.

Hope McClure, CFO

Hope is our beautiful mind. She dreams of charts and graphs and organizes things in her sleep. She is a retired CEO of a State Agency and I somehow tricked her into working for me when she isn't tearing down walls and rebuilding homes for fun. She has a bachelors in Psychology and a Masters in Business Administration. Her drive and passion for her family, her career, and her life are unmatched.
